Dog Sledding
Experience dog sledding at the Hamilton Adventure Expo.
All the way from the Timmins region, Abitibi Sled Dogs is bringing an authentic northern adventure straight to Ancaster!
Led by Jacob, a professional musher and educator with years of experience running dogs in Northern Ontario, Abitibi Sled Dogs is known for preserving the tradition, history, and heart of Canadian dog sledding.
Jacob’s team works year-round to train, care for, and celebrate their incredible Alaskan Huskies, athletes with deep ancestral ties to winter travel and the fur trade routes that shaped our country. Their mission goes beyond the thrill of the ride: they’re passionate about teaching people how sled dogs live, work, play, and thrive, and about honouring the rich cultural history of dog-powered travel in Canada’s North.
